Eligibility for Marketing Emails
When sending marketing emails, you may notice that only some of your clients are eligible to receive them. This is because clients are only eligible if any of the following conditions are met:
- The client has booked an appointment, completed a sale, or filled out a form within the last two years.
- The client was previously subscribed to your marketing emails sent from another booking software or marketing platform, and their previous email subscriptions have been verified and approved by the Mangomint team.
To check if a client is eligible for marketing emails, you can go to the client details section. Here, you can also manage their subscription status.
Switching to Email Marketing
Yes, you can switch to Email Marketing instead of using our Mailchimp integration. In fact, you can even use both features if needed. Our Email Marketing feature offers more powerful options for filtering your client list.
If you decide to switch to Email Marketing, you can learn more about the available client filters and pricing for this feature. It provides a seamless way to manage your marketing emails.
Client Subscription Criteria
Clients are automatically subscribed to marketing emails for a period of two years after they have completed any of the following actions:
- Booked an appointment
- Completed a sale
- Filled out a form
Even if a client unsubscribes from your marketing emails, they will still receive automated messages as they are sent from a different domain. However, if a client marks your marketing emails as spam, they will be automatically unsubscribed from future marketing emails.
Sending Marketing Emails from a Custom Email Address
Yes, you can send marketing emails from a custom email address. This allows you to maintain brand consistency and professionalism when communicating with your clients.
By using a custom email address, you can personalize your marketing emails and make them more recognizable to your clients. It adds a professional touch to your communication efforts.
Duplicating or Deleting Marketing Emails
If you want to duplicate a marketing email, you can do so from both the Sent and Draft status. Here’s how:
- To duplicate a Sent email, select the email on the Email Marketing screen and choose “Duplicate” from the “…” menu.
- To duplicate a Draft email, select the email on the Email Marketing screen and choose “Duplicate” from the “…” menu.
If you no longer need a Draft email, you can delete it. Follow these steps:
- Select the email on the Email Marketing screen and choose “Delete” from the “…” menu.
Cancelling a Scheduled Marketing Email
If you need to cancel a scheduled campaign, you can do so easily. Here’s how:
- Select the campaign on the Email Marketing screen and choose “Cancel” from the “…” menu.
When a scheduled campaign is canceled, it will be changed to a Draft status. This gives you the flexibility to make any necessary changes before rescheduling or deleting the campaign.
